Absolutely NO Amnesty
Granting amnesty to the 13 Million
illegal aliens in the U.S. is an affront to every immigrant that
filled out their paper work, waited for their turn, and entered into
this country legally. I will
never vote for any legislation that grants amnesty to any illegal
alien.
Guest Worker Program
If we need workers to perform labor in
this country then let's put together a guest worker program for the
people necessary to fill the labor positions that companies cannot
fill from the U.S. Populations.
Terms of the program are as follows:
1.
The guest worker submits an application that contains a photograph,
fingerprint card, and DNA sample.
2.
Sponsoring company will accept the guest worker and agree to pay
wages equal to at least the current minimum wage laws in the U.S.
All employees and employers will be subject to all applicable
labor laws. Sponsoring
company will also pay an amount determined by the INS to be put into
an fund to be used to reimburse local hospitals for any unpaid
medical services.
3.
Both parties will pay any applicable any federal, state, and local
taxes required by law.
4.
The employer will notify the Immigration service when an employee's
services as a guest worker are no longer required.
The guest worker will be given a period of not more than 30
days to locate and begin work for another employer or must leave the
country and notify INS officials of their departure at the border
crossing to their country of origin.
5.
Any guest worker employed for a period of at least 5 years with no
negative legal activities will be eligible to apply for a permanent
resident card and be eligible to apply for citizenship as permitted
by law.
6.
No one caught entering this country illegally will ever be eligible
for the guest worker or immigration programs.
Advantages For The Guest
Workers
The objective of the
guest worker program is to allow the required supplemental workforce
to work to come to this country legally with dignity and pride
without having to hide in the shadows from law enforcement.
This will also significantly reduce the abuse that certain
employers and others impose on these workers.
They will no longer be afraid of deportation for reporting
abuses and illegal activities. |
