Why Am I Running?
I have thought about running for office for many years. I have watched our government become unresponsive to its citizens and the representatives that we have sent to Washington D.C. unresponsive to their constituents. This cannot continue.
It was the intention of our forefathers that the people would be represented by members of their own community bringing the opinions and ideas of their friends and neighbors to Washington D.C. These ideas were to be exchanged and policies developed for the common good would flow from the central government to be impleneted by the state governments at their pleasure. State governments no longer enjoy this self rule. We must return the power to self rule to the states.
The current government has turned it's back on the people and is taking power and control that our forefathers warned us all to be vigilient against. It is time to elect a new set of representatives that truely represent the desires of the people of this great nation.
What We Need In Congress.
We need representatives that are responsive to the desires of their constituents, have the experience and skills that will be necessary to develop policies that address the issues that are important to the people and not what is in the best interest of the massive bureaucracy we now call the government of the United States.
If you want to send someone to Congress that will serve the people of district 24 and bring the experience necessary to deal with both the domestic and international problems that we face then please, join me in in my campaign for the U.S. Congress. Together we can return this nation to the correct path.
